HoMedics DK Technology employs a microphone in the arm cuff to actually listen to your heartbeat like your doctor does when taking a reading. By using both pressure and sound, the BPA-300 is able to measure your blood pressure with the ultimate accuracy.
In addition to blood pressure and pulse measurements, the HoMedics BPA-300 includes an irregular heartbeat detector that alerts you when an irregular heartbeat is detected. Best of all, the HoMedics BPA-300 gives you all of these measurements with one-touch operation.
When you take your blood pressure, the HoMedics BPA-300 automatically compares your results with the standards set by the World Health Organization. The monitor also averages the results with your last three readings, giving you an excellent measure of your progress. Each measurement comes with a date and time stamp, and the built-in memory has the capacity for up to 120 readings for up to two individual users.

The HoMedics BPA-300 is about the size of a bedside alarm clock and comes with its own hard-plastic case and vinyl carrying bag for easy transportability. The monitor includes two cuffs that will work with all adults. (One cuff fits adult arms between 9.5 and 14.2 inches in diameter while the second fits adult arms between 13.4 and 18.1 inches in diameter.) Supersize digits make it easy to read the results on the display. The monitor runs on four AAA batteries or with an AC adapter, both of which are included.
